Introducing
Soundabout Revival.

Soundabout Revival is the collaborative evolution of the Hughes Taylor project, formed as the music naturally expanded beyond its origins as a solo endeavor. What began as a guitar-driven outlet for songwriting and performance has grown into a true band—one shaped by the contributions, chemistry, and shared musical vision of every member on stage and in the studio.

Hailing from Georgia, Soundabout Revival delivers a fiery blend of southern rock, blues, soul, and good ol' Rock n Roll. Drawing inspiration from artists like the Allman Brothers, Gov't Mule, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimi Hendrix, and Cream, the band combines raw guitar work, soulful grooves, powerful vocals, and dynamic songwriting into a sound that's both familiar and unmistakably their own. Built on musicianship rather than genre, their music balances blistering guitar-driven moments with memorable melodies, impressively smooth dynamics, and songs that connect long after the last note.

The band's foundation was laid over nearly two decades of writing, recording, and relentless touring under the Hughes Taylor name, earning international recognition with six studio albums, a live record, award-winning releases, and performances across the United States and the United Kingdom. That journey reached its creative peak with Roasted, a record born from years of collaboration, lineup changes, and artistic growth that ultimately became the catalyst for a new identity—one that better reflected how the music had already evolved.

On stage, Soundabout Revival is where that evolution truly comes to life. Their performances are built on spontaneity, chemistry, and the kind of musical conversation that only comes from years of playing together. Every show blends high-energy performance with soulful feel, creating an experience that is equal parts powerful, authentic, and deeply rooted in the traditions that inspired them.

While the name is new, the heart of the music remains the same. Soundabout Revival isn't a reinvention—it's the fullest expression of where the songs have been leading all along.
